How I will identify the impact these changes to my delivery have (the impact for myself, my learners my co-trainers)

I am really not sure how I will identify the impact these changes (?) will have. I suspect that reflecting on delivery sessions, as soon as possible, will allow some identification of impact but until that happens I'm not sure.

David
The steps I will take to ensure I continually refresh the approach to my delivery within the e-Guide progamme.

I will ensure the continued refreshment of approach by reflecting upon each day's session with my co-trainer. I will then personally reflect upon the changes (if any) that are required to ensure a better and more efficient learning environment for e-Guides. Where the change might benefit other, I will communicate these to others via online forums.
What changes I will make to my delivery as an E-Guides trainer as a result of my reflections of my professional development

Well, pretty much as I've already stated - everything I learn will be applied to my work as an e-Guide trainer, as and when it fits.

An e-Guide trainer needs to be adaptable, flexible and cogniscent of trainee needs. My delivery will change acccording to the requirments of any group of e-Guides. As time goes by, the groups tend to be more and more capable and my own learning needs will therefore widen, to fill in gaps in trainee knowledge.
This isn't really any different to my previous entry. I will attend any development sessions that NIACE offer and will seek out opportunities to update my own wider professional skills as and when opportunities arise.

Reflection is a very personal thing and something I have always done. Often this takes place immediately and changes are put into place 'on the hoof'. They then become part of a changed 'delivery' (whether this be written plan or attitude), Formally recording this reflection, whilst cathartic, doesn't always manage to record all the positive changes to behaviour.

Nevertheless, I will endeavour also, to continue with blog entries such as this to record and review NIACE e-Guide delivery sessions. Whever I feel it will benefit others, or myself in some way, I will also record relfection on other non-NIACE training sessions.
As I've learned many new things from colleagues and generally (because this is something I enjoy doing and feel it my duty to do -) I've passed it on.

The impact this has made has been tremendous. I've learned to become more understanding of others and to pick up on small points that might otherwise have been missed. I have learned new jargon from either or any of the various sectors we now support (ACL, F.E. OLAS, VLS etc) and this has helped me to tune in more pointedly to 'needs' as they arise.

I'm still happy to admit that I do NOT know everything so my constant learning process has led to (continues to underpin) a certain humility in my teaching / training delivery

It is hard to quantify exactly what I've learned by being an e-Guides trainer, because there's such a lot.

First of all, there is such a wide range of talents and abilities amongst the team that I cannot fail to have learned things. I have learned something new from everyone I've worked with. everyone I've worked with has brought something new to the session - whether this be training of e-Guides, or training/reflection for ourselves.

Furthermore, I learn something new (often more than one thing) from e-Guides themselves. It has been a real pleasure meeting all those new people over the last two years; many of whom I've met time and time again at various NIACE and RSC events.

If I had to list just one thing that I'd learned, I think it would be that of humility. I learned very early on and repeatedly throughout that I cannot make assumptions. Everyone has their own level and their own speed of uptake - it doesn't do to push beyond those, often quite individual boundaries.
